ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE

I have been an avid supporter of the From G's to Gent's franchise since it's installment and I have thoroughly enjoyed the television that is has brought forth. I was almost moved to tears at the end of season 1, when Creepa b.k.a. Thaddeus gave that heart wrenching speech about why he deserved the $100,000.00 prize. I was equally moved by the hilarity of this seasons characters Riff Raff and Fahim, straight comedy. I don't wanna belabor the point that I am trying to make, and that point is... What is the deal with Farnsworth Bentley's hair?
In my travels through the innanet' today i came across this gem of a video... for those of you who like soul music, here is a great clip video. After the performance there is a Q&A session where he touches on some of his musical influences, collaborations, and plans for the future.
ENJOY!

Found this crazy article today about music artists that have died at 27 (including Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, etc). I'm 26 and my birthday's next month so it struck me. Check it out: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=102670912&sc=nl&cc=mn-20090408
Mike and Kyle Hicks present...the "We Don't Have Cable" Acoustic Soul Sessions Series...
Good friday World's MIP-ers, myself and my homie and fellow WMIPer Jason Eskridge are playing a great show this weekend in Nashville. We're headlining the famous WRLT Sunday Night Series this coming Sunday night in Nashville (past headliners: James Morrison, Los Lonely Boys, Gabe Dixon Band, and Howie Day, etc.) I follow the station pretty consistently, so to be asked to play live on the air for an hour is a gift. I wanna share it with my fans and friends however, so we need people to come fill the room up...don't listen to it on the radio, BE on the radio from the audience! Jason goes on first at 8pm, I hit at 9. Doors open at 6. I feel a night to remember coming on...get the cameras and VCRs cued. See you there...

I had a fun, short, but fun time in Atlanta this Monday night. The 40 min set felt like 5 min up there, but we'll be back in May hopefully. Saw some great bands play too, Kameron Korvet and Paisley Gordon & Party People did they're thing.
